New Beginnings

269 Elizabeth Street

It’s been said, even by my own people, that I sometimes work in strange ways. I make decisions that seem odd, but which, in the end, work well ( thank you, God ).

So, when I found out that some of our current artists were moving on to new things in their lives, I decided that it was the perfect time to make the next jump up. What I’ve decided to do is to open a new, beautiful shop on Elizabeth St, with all of our tattooers and piercers in one location, and to transform our Second Ave shop into a jewelry store, albeit a non-traditional one. Details to follow once I work them out…

And what will we do with our amazing space in Brooklyn, you might ask?  Good question…

I want to close it. But, I want to sell it ( of course, not to another tattoo shop ). Or become partners with someone I respect, in a new business that could well utilize the space. So, if you want to call me and talk about a business venture, please do so. Even if none of those things work out, we will still be leaving the Bedford shop. I’m a city girl and Manhattan is where I flourish. And when I flourish, my peeps are happy. And happy people working together is a blast!

I also want to wish the best of luck to the family members that are leaving Adorned…

Bryan Randolph, who has moved home to California and is now working at Spider Murphy’s in San Rafael.

Chad Koeplinger and Timothy Hoyer, who are both going out on the road, but who will, for sure, sit in with us when they are in NYC.

And Horizakura, who will be opening his own private studio on the LES this Fall.

We love you guys!

So, look forward to our new endeavors over at New York Adorned. They are gonna be good…

beAdorned,

Lori
