Aidan Has a Posse!

There are few people in life that walk the long haul with you. And even fewer people that see enough in you when you are starting out to invest their personal time to convince the world that you are someone to look at and believe in.
Bob Seeger Jr is a man that I met many years ago when Sean Vasquez, Andrea Elston and I moved the Original East Side Ink from St Marks Pl to 2 St in 1994. It wasn’t an easy place to get into. Tattooing was illegal in NYC at the time and still very underground. But Bob had sought out Andrea and spent plenty of time getting tattooed by her. Bob was always a true believer in what we were doing. He would put our stickers up all over the place, hand out pens with our name on it. Tell the world that we were the only place to get tattooed. Once I opened NYA, he was one of the first people to get tattooed by our first tattooers, Mike Ledger and Scott Harrison and Chris Garver. You guys might now him as one of Indian Larry’s long time partners, where he continues to carry on the legacy.
But now Bob needs me. And he needs you too. His 6 year old son Aidan Jack has been diagnosed with a rare brain disease called adrenoleukodystrophy (ADL). He is in desperate need of a bone marrow transplant. PLEASE consider going to www.marrow.org and getting a simple at-home cheek swab test to see if you could be a match.
